Chairman’s Welcome 2018

Welcome to 2018 and Jaguar Drivers Club Scotland’s web site.

On here you will find information about the club and the activities past and present, how to apply for shows and runs in cars. We relaunched the club in November 2013 and it has grown beyond our wildest dreams. This is down to the hard work by the committee and helpers. We all work well as a team embrace new ideas and make every member feel welcome. In the last four seasons, we have covered so much ground and so many miles, from Shetland down and we have not missed a show.

2017 saw us relaunch Scotland’s National Day which ran alongside the Bo’ness Revival in September. At that show we picked a car to represent our area at the NEC Classic Car Show. This was a major step forward in getting our club recognised as it has been such a long time since Scotland had a car on the stand. Our range of cars knows no limits and at every show there is great effort made to show our cars to their best.

But it is also about the fun of driving the car and more runs are on the cards, so pack that weekend case and escape to places you have never seen before with the most stunning scenery. We are planning a factory tour later in the year combined with a behind the scenes look into the Jaguar Daimler Heritage Trust collection.

In the year ahead, we will be taking part in the Rotary Club of Blairgowrie Charity run and the Fantastic event at Scone Palace, not only that but we are looking to take part in the huge event at Inveraray Castle.

But it is your club, so you have a say in what is happening. Tell us what you want and help us the best car and family friendly club.

Scottish National Day winner at NEC

Bill and Ethel Ross displayed their car on the Jaguar Drivers’ Club Stand at the Classic Car Show at the NEC.

The car was chosen to represent Scotland at the Scottish National Day at the Bo’ness Revival earlier in the year. This is the first time that a Scottish Car has been represented on the Club stand at the show.
